Retreat in the Colorado Rockies |
Awakening to Your Soul's Purpose led by Win and Mary Jane Hooper The theme of this year’s retreat is an exploration of the importance of soul in our lives. Win and I have been greatly influenced in past years by John O’Donohue, Bill Plotkin, and Richard Rohr. We intend to weave the wisdom teachings of these three masters, to explore and find what our soul seeks to teach us as we progress through childhood, youth, and mature adulthood. The soul is the blueprint inside of everything and everybody. It tells us why we are here, and what is really important in our lives, and what we should contribute to our culture and the world. We will work to discover our souls, who we really are, and the importance of our soul teachings. This retreat is an experiential plunge into the depths of Soulcraft, practices designed by Bill Plotkin, to experience soul-encounter. These practices spring from nature-based cultures, modern depth psychology and the poetic tradition. By the end of this retreat, you will have new skills to enrich your life and your relationship with nature. By reconnecting with nature we connect with the givens of life finding grounding and healing. We want each participant to be clearer about the gifts you were born to bring into the world.
